Trinity Partnership Launch Brings Students and Local Businesses Together
Trinity School was delighted to officially launch the Trinity Partnership at a special event held in collaboration with the Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday 4th March.
The event brought together Chamber members, local businesses, and Trinity Partnership members to celebrate the beginning of an exciting initiative aimed at strengthening links between education and industry.
Sixth Form students were also invited to attend, giving them the opportunity to practise their networking skills and speak directly with professionals from a range of sectors. Experiences like this are a key part of helping students develop confidence, build connections and gain insight into future career pathways.
A particular highlight of the evening was hearing from Connie Fenwick (Year 12) and Dax Mantell (Year 13), who volunteered to speak about their time at Trinity School and the support they have received from staff when planning their next steps. They spoke about the guidance and resources available to help students explore career pathways, reinforcing the importance of initiatives such as the Trinity Partnership.
The event quickly demonstrated the value of bringing businesses together. One of the partners in attendance arranged a discovery meeting with another local business to explore opportunities for collaboration, while three students were offered work experience opportunities as a direct result of conversations during the morning.
The response to the Trinity Partnership has been extremely encouraging, with many attendees expressing enthusiasm about becoming involved and contributing to the school’s careers programme and wider initiatives.
Over the coming week, a dedicated Trinity Partnership page will be added to the careers section of the Trinity School website. This will showcase all current partners involved in the initiative and provide a space where partners can share any offers or benefits available to Trinity staff and parents. For example, Slade Gym are currently offering reduced membership and discounted classes.
The Trinity Partnership is designed to create meaningful connections between students and the world of work, and we look forward to growing this network with the support of our local business community.
We are always keen to hear from local businesses who would like to play a role in inspiring the next generation and supporting Trinity students as they explore future career pathways. Please email astarbuck@trinitysevenoaks.com or careerstr@trinitysevenoaks.com for more information.
