Welcome

We aim to help our students discover pathways and be equipped for a future beyond Trinity. A range of subjects are on offer which will allow students to progress onto higher education courses or vocational training. There is an expectation for all students to lead and serve in various capacities while in the sixth form, which aligns with the school’s ethos. Students are also encouraged to do the Extended Project Qualification. Student development is enhanced by a comprehensive tutor programme which supports them on their transition from GCSE to A level/Level 3 studies, through their final exams and beyond. We fully expect many of our students to attend some of the best universities whilst others will be supported in alternative routes such as apprenticeships.

The school’s leadership team have extensive knowledge and experience of both setting up and running sixth forms and we have outstanding and inspiring teachers. Students are taught within our brand new, modern, spacious and airy building which includes a Sixth Form Study Centre.

Last year our year 13 students were successful in getting places at some of the country’s top institutions including one sitting their entrance exam and securing a place at Oxford university to study engineering and another to read veterinary science at Surrey.  Over 30% went to Russell Group universities for a wide range of degree courses including, engineering at Edinburgh, English at Exeter, law at Southampton and psychology at Warwick.
