Mock Interview Morning
Our annual Mock Interview Morning for Year 12's takes place around early July. Each year the school welcomes many local employers who volunteer their valuable time, and provide a wealth of experience for our Year 12 students. The morning is a fantastic opportunity to obtain first-hand interview experience, and students are provided with feedback after the thirty minute interview on various aspects such as interview preparation, body-language, ability to answer questions and give examples, leadership skills, and work-readiness.
"Her attitude to learning, opening up to new experiences, and embracing the diversity of life is something she should be very proud of."
"He is being thorough with his thought process about next steps. Well done, I'm sure you'll go far!"
"I hope she chooses to work in the property industry. She will be a real asset."
Operation Christmas Child
Every December a number of our staff and students travel to Chessington to help with the amazing cause - Operation Christmas Child. Many boxes are readied and packed alongside other volunteers, with the 2025 count standing at an impressive 2500 shoeboxes packed by Trinity School in just three hours! The trip is a fantastic opportunity to see how small acts of kindness can create a global impact.
Prom
Our annual Prom is frequently hosted at the picturesque Salomons Estate in Tunbridge Wells. The night offers the opportunity for our Year 13's to catch-up after working incredibly hard throughout their exams, and make an evening of memories before saying their goodbyes to Trinity one final time and heading off for University, apprencticeships, travels abroad, or work opportunities.

The Apprentice Challenge
The Apprentice Challenge is one part of the prefect application process for Year 12 students. Inspired by the hit TV show The Apprentice, our Apprentice Challenge is a fast-paced, high-pressure enterprise competition designed to challenge our sixthform students within the world of business. Students are placed into teams and given a £25 start-up budget, with one clear instruction: turn it into as much money as possible for our school charities War Child and charity:water. Over a series of tasks, teams must pitch ideas, plan, problem-solve, take risks and deliver results. After each stage, performance is reviewed and just like the real boardroom, teams that underperform are fired. In true Alan Sugar fashion: “It’s all about results. No excuses.”
By the final task, only one winning team remains, crowned champions for showing the strongest combination of enterprise, resilience, leadership and profit-making. As Alan Sugar famously says: “Success is about taking control of your own destiny.” The Apprentice Challenge gives students exactly that chance; to think big, work smart, and prove they’ve got what it takes.
Trinity's Got Talent
Trinity's Got Talent is an evening full of creativity. Our students not only have the opportunity to show off their various skills, but also help with everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Students can assist in a variety of vital roles across the course of the night such as; backstage management, visual/sound operating, lighting design, choreography, mic operation, and visual design.
Past Trips
Trinity hosts an exciting range of events, trips, and visits throughout Year 12 & 13 across subject-specific fields and Co-Curricular areas. Please note that whilst some events and trips are subject to change from year to year, we hope you will enjoy discovering what has been in anticipation of what is to come.
History - Poland 2025
“During half term, our Year 13 History students spent four days in Poland, linking to their coursework about the Holocaust. They spent their time participating in a walking tour of the 'Old Jewish Quarters' learning about the ghettos in Krakow, as well as meeting the relative of a Holocaust survivor. The following day they visited Auschwitz and Auschwitz-Birkenau, learning about the horrific conditions, and even walked through a gas chamber to extend their knowledge. However, the students also had free time to visit the gorgeous 'Old Town' and learn more about Polish culture - enjoying local music and markets.
On the final day, they went 135m underground in the famous Salt mines; learning about the history of the mines, as well as taking in the incredible salt chandeliers, some students decided to take up the offer of licking salt off the walls! Overall, the students had a very enjoyable trip, having made unforgettable memories, and will use their new knowledge to further their studies.”
New York 2025
"The school trip to New York this year was an unforgettable and amazing experience! We got to visit many of the iconic landmarks and walk around Times Square!
We set off early on the 17th of October, and arrived in the evening where we checked into the YMCA Westside and enjoyed our first American meal at the Tick Tock Diner.
Our first full day began with breakfast at Café Paradiso. We then rode the hop-on-hop-off bus which gave us great views of the streets; we even saw a 'No Kings' protest which was so busy that we had to hop off. However, this gave us the opportunity to walk around Central Park and have lunch! Later, we visited the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), which contained some incredible paintings such as "Starry Night", followed by dinner at Applebee’s. In the evening, we got to watch "The Great Gatsby" on Broadway which was a personal highlight!
On the 19th of October, we had breakfast at the Tick Tock Diner before heading downtown. A guided tour of Wall Street taught us about the history of New York’s financial district, which was particularly interesting. After, we boarded the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and later saw the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. We finished the evening with dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and a visit to the top of the Empire State Building!
On our final day, we checked out of the YMCA and set off for breakfast at Café Paradiso. We toured the Radio City Music Hall, learning about its famous shows and history, and got to meet one of the current Rockettes! We then got lunch and visited the Top of the Rock Observatory at the Rockefeller Center for fantastic views across Manhattan. After collecting our luggage, we returned to JFK for our overnight flight home.
The trip was a unique and fantastic opportunity to explore one of the world’s most exciting cities with our friends. Thank you to all the staff who made it possible!"
Film Studies - London Southbank 2025
“On Friday 7th November Trinity Year 12 Film Students spent the day at the National Film Theatre on London’s Southbank. The workshop and lecture presentations were facilitated by the exam board (WJEC) curriculum heads and were directly relevant to the student’s ongoing study of Alfred Hitchcock, Hollywood, and auteur theory. The students were fully engaged and contributed to group and whole auditorium discussions. This was followed by a screening of “Vertigo” in the intended medium of “Vistavision” at the state-of-the-art facilities, followed by a Q and A session with experts in the field.
The work on the day was followed up by teachers back at school where the experience of the day led to a deeper and richer understanding and raised the critical responses of the class.”
Drama - Stranger Things Theatre Trip 2026
"Our A-Level Drama students recently travelled to London’s Phoenix Theatre to experience the spectacular stage production Stranger Things: The First Shadow — and what a trip it was!
Organised by Head of Drama Mr Deamer, the visit gave Year 13 students valuable preparation for their Live Theatre exam component, while also providing Year 12 students with rich inspiration and research material for their EPQ.
From the moment the curtain rose, students were completely captivated by the gripping prequel story set in 1959 Hawkins, following Henry Creel’s unsettling journey as mysterious events begin to unfold.
The production’s blend of naturalistic acting, immersive staging and jaw-dropping special effects left students stunned, the theatre was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. It was a masterclass in technical theatre and storytelling, giving students invaluable material to draw upon in their written exams.
Beyond the performance itself, students represented the school brilliantly throughout the trip, travelling by train into London and embracing the full theatre experience with maturity and enthusiasm.
Back at school, the buzz continued as students eagerly discussed key moments, design elements and performances they can now reference in their exam responses. Experiences like this don’t just support learning, they inspire it.
A huge thank you to our fantastic students and staff for making this such a memorable and successful visit!"
"This term, our Year 13 Drama students visited the Phoenix Theatre in London to go see 'Stranger Things: The First Shadow'. Based upon the TV series 'Stranger Things' the play serves as a sequel, delving into the backstory of Henry Creel (Vecna). Filled with tension, social issues and incredible technical advances, 'The First Shadow' was an immersive experience which every student happily wanted to re-watch and appealed to all regardless of whether they had watched the series."
Art, Photography and Graphics - Tate Modern 2026
"On Wednesday 4th February 2026 we visited the Tate Modern, London and unbelievably we had a blue sunny sky! The Y12 and Y13 Art, Photography and Graphics students (21 in total) all had a great time exploring the gallery and examining the different types of inspiring artwork. From Modern Installation Art to Painting, Printmaking, Interactive Art, Drawings, Film, Photography, Graphic Design - an endless list! This research will now be used to inspire their individual art projects. Thank you to all the extremely well behaved sixth formers on the trip - what a fantastic Day!"
“Visiting the Tate Modern was an insightful experience, we got to see fantastic work from sculpture to stunning and mesmerising paintings and prints. This truly sparked out imaginations and helped me with my artist research."
