World Book Day

World Book Day

Trinity School celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 5th March.  Activities took place throughout the day in the library including a reading breakfast, book quiz, creating short stories and a second hand book sale in aid of Book Aid International.

“Hitchhiker” a short story by Roald Dahl was split into 5 parts and read by staff at the beginning of each lesson.  Students were given a £1 book token which can be used in participating book shops.

Year 7 students were invited to come dressed in fancy dress with prizes being awarded for the most creative or imaginative costume.  Staff also joined in the fancy dress fun with some fantastic costumes.

The potato character challenge was a huge success with some fantastic entries showing originality and artistic flare.
