Trinity is currently a 4 Form Entry (11-18) Christian free school academy based in Sevenoaks. We are growing to a 6 Form Entry (6FE), over the next 2 years and moved into our established building in September 2016. Our Sixth Form opened September 2018. Once at full capacity, we will have 1,140 students which includes our sixth form of 240.

Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant (immediate start)

Full-time or Part-time Considered

FTE Salary £20,585 - £22,469 per annum (actual salary £18,078.16 - £19,732.73 per annum)

37.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum

We are looking for a flexible, highly effective, efficient and organised Finance Assistant to support our Finance team with the day to day running of finances.  You will be responsible for supporting the School Business Manager and Finance Officer.

Core responsibilities will focus primarily on processing and reconciling a range of financial transactions including managing the purchase order process, school trips/payments and processing the month end bank reconciliation for the academies accounts.

Previous financial administrative experience within a school environment is preferred and applicants must demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy. The ideal candidate will have excellent MS office skills e.g. Excel and Word and be a competent user of a range of finance/school specific packages.  Knowledge of IRIS Financials, ParentPay and SIMS would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

Clerk to the Governors

Clerk to the Governors (starting asap)

FTE Salary £22,581 - £25,564 per annum (actual salary £4,759.46 - £5,388.20 per annum)

9 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum

3 days per week Wednesday – Friday 9.00 am to 12.00 pm (flexibility with days/hours considered)

We are looking for an extremely organised, effective and flexible Clerk to the Governors to join the Trinity team reporting to the Chair of Governors.  The successful candidate will also provide secretarial support for Sevenoaks Churches Educational Trust (SCET).

You will be an individual who prides themselves on attention to detail, able to take accurate minutes, prepare agendas in consultation with the Chair of Committee and Headmaster and collate & distribute papers for meetings in a timely manner. Other responsibilities will be providing advice and information to the governing board.

The successful candidate will understand the importance of strong Governance and that the Clerk plays a pivotal role.  Previous secretarial, office or administrative experience is essential and school experience would be a distinct advantage.  A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to prioritise and deal with a demanding workload is vital.  You will be an excellent communicator, have a professional approach and be able to deal with complex matters both face to face and in writing.  Candidates will have strong MS office skills e.g. Word and be competent users of email.

Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor – Part Time

FTE Salary £22,581 - £25,564 per annum (actual salary £6,702.91 - £7,588.38 per annum)

13 hours per week (Thursday and Friday only), 39 weeks per annum (term time plus insets)

We are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to work under the guidance of teaching staff within an agreed system of supervision for two days a week (Thursday and Friday).

You would be required to implement work programmes with individuals /groups in or out of the classroom including the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers.

It would be advantageous if you have experience of working with medium to large groups of students.  A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to communicate well with others and demonstrate good organisational skills is essential. 

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children, the ability to relate well to children and adults as well as the ability to work well as part of a team and understanding classroom roles and responsibilities is essential.

Trinity School is a successful and popular Christian secondary school based in Sevenoaks.

We are seeking to appoint a Sports Coach on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2022 to deliver sports coaching to our pupils over the academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our friendly and talented staff team. The position is term time only (plus insets), working Monday - Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm daily.

The role will include providing PE coaching and other sporting activities to various year groups during the school day, followed by sport based after school clubs / activities.

Having a sports specialism would be advantageous.
