On Friday 8^th March six of our Trinity students and Mrs Gale were invited to lunch with the Mayor of Sevenoaks, Cllr Claire Shea. The lunch was attended by mayors and councillors across Kent and local businesswomen sponsored our lunch. There was an inspiring talk by the Major, reminding us of the wonderful achievements of those in the room as well as a reminder that there was sadly more to do to address the inequality women still face on some fronts.  Francesca Hennesey, a 19-year-old professional boxer from Sevenoaks and Jenny Godfrey, an author of The Suffragettes of Kent and the Secret Missions of the Kent Suffragettes. Being able to network and enjoy lunch with such a wonderful and diverse group of women and girls from local schools was a privilege.
