GCSE Results Day!

GCSE results press statement

Trinity School is pleased to report some outstanding achievements from our year 11 students in their GCSE and applied courses this year.

Following the cancellation of exams, grades were awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards. The government is not publishing performance data for any schools or colleges this year due to the varying impact of the pandemic.

Headmaster Dr Pawson writes:

"Students in Year 11 have shown impressive resolve throughout the year, particularly as the end of year assessments approached. Students demonstrated the same dedication that would normally befit GCSE exams and they deserve the grades they are awarded today as the fruit of their labour. The focus and resolve shown throughout two lockdowns show that students are ready for their next steps."

Congratulations to Amy Budack, Zebedee Dodson, Heidi Fogden, Hannah Glanfield, Amelia Gray, Amie-Jane Crampton, Hannah Fletcher, Ella Wilson and Daniel Oakley on achieving 10 or more grades above a 7.

We are excited for the next steps for these students, with many staying in the sixth form to pursue A level courses in the next two years, with students celebrating their achievements in year 13 earlier this week CLICK HERE.
