University of Warwick welcomes our Able and Ambitious students

A group of Able and Ambitious students from Years 10 and 11 visited the University of Warwick in July. Warwick is one of the Russell Group Universities and is ranked in the top ten with a reputation for excellence in research, teaching and innovation. The University is well known for its links with business and industry.

The students, considering a number of degree courses, made the trip up the M11 with Mr Ben Williams at the wheel to visit the campus.

The day was informative and inspiring. The students had a campus tour and were able to see inside a hall of residence, the arts centre and the Students’ Union. A library tour included the opportunity to see the innovative laptop chargers in the form of a running treadmill! A lecture in the Zeeman Building included topics about campus life, funding and the portfolio of Undergraduate Degree Courses available. After a break by the lake, the students made their way home to Trinity.
