Trinity is a growing 11-18 (4FE) Christian free school academy based in Sevenoaks. We moved into our new building in September 2016 with Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 (473 students). At full capacity we will have 790 students which will include our sixth form opening in September 2018.

Lead Science Technician

Actual Salary £16,740 – £21,146 per annum (FTE £19,000 – £24,000 per annum)

37.5 hours per week, 41 weeks per annum

An opportunity has arisen for a flexible, highly effective, organised, efficient and experienced Lead Science Technician to join Trinity School.

The Science department at Trinity School are highly experienced with a keen drive to put practicals at the forefront of their teaching.  We currently employ 6 Science teachers and have fully resourced new laboratories built to high specification.

The successful candidate will be an individual who has experience in coordinating the use and maintenance of practical science resources and facilities as well as providing assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum.

You will be responsible for line managing one technician and carrying out maintenance checks, arranging for repairs as necessary, coordinating and organising the inventory of equipment and stock control and undertaking stock checks.  Candidates need to be adapt at liaising with equipment providers to ensure good quality provision, as well as academic staff to discuss timetables, equipment requirements and work plans.

Previous experience in a Science Technician role in a school environment is essential.  A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to organise, prioritise and deal with a demanding workload is vital.  You will be an excellent communicator, able to lead and manage a team and have a professional approach.

Candidates will be a confident and competent user of ICT.

ICT Manager

Salary: negotiable dependent on qualifications, skills and experience
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (08.00 – 16.00), 52 weeks per annum (flexibility required)

Previous experience as an ICT support technician or in a network role is essential and experience in a school environment would be a distinct advantage. A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to prioritise and deal with a demanding workload is vital. You will be a skilled ICT professional able to deal with hardware, software, infrastructure and network matters, have a professional approach and strong relationship management skills, an excellent communicator with ability to deal with complex matters both face to face and in writing.
