Trinity is a growing 11-18 (4FE) Christian free school academy based in Sevenoaks. We moved into our new building in September 2016 with Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 (473 students). At full capacity we will have 790 students which will include our sixth form opening in September 2018.

Learning Support Assistant (starting September 2017)

Actual Salary £11,733 pa (FTE £14,000 pa)

37.5 hours pw, 39 weeks pa (term time plus insets)

We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work as a member of the LSA team supporting students across all subjects in groups and or one to one basis.

The successful candidate will be required to assist subject teachers to meet students’ needs by working with individuals or groups of students on a planned basis, pass on information about the student gathered in other contexts to the subject teacher and work with students who have disabilities and/or health issues.

You will act as an extension of the School’s pastoral system by acting as a listening ear and confidante for students and provide general support for students who are re-integrating into school following prolonged absence /change of school /exclusion.

Previous experience as a teaching assistant is preferred.  A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to communicate well with others and demonstrate good organisational skills is essential.

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children, the needs of children and child development and the ways in which children learn is essential.

Caretaker – Full time including weekend working

Salary £14,000 – £18,000 per annum

37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a full-time Caretaker to join Trinity’s busy, dedicated site/facilities team as soon as possible.

The post is for five days per week Wednesday to Friday 10.30 am to 6.30 pm (with flexibility to cover evenings occasionally), Saturday and Sunday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.

We are looking for a flexible, skilled, maintenance operative who is hardworking, organised and enjoys a busy varied day. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a school environment. The role will include basic plumbing, carpentry, landscaping and cleaning so experience in these sectors would be of benefit.

You will be the sort of person who takes pride in ensuring the school is clean, tidy and a safe environment and wants to provide an outstanding customer service for students, staff and visitors. You will constantly strive to ensure that the school is immaculate. You will have good ICT skills and able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and a job ticket system confidently, although training for this will be provided.

Finance Manager (starting asap) Full or Part time

 Salary: FTE £28,000 – £35,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience

Hours: Negotiable

We are looking for a committed, highly effective, organised Finance Manager who is confident and able to ‘hit the ground running’.  You will be responsible for ensuring that the School’s statutory financial obligations are met and that the finance function operates efficiently, applying value for money VfM principles and ensuring regularity and propriety.

The ideal candidate will possess a professional accountancy qualification or AAT level 2 or above as a minimum and have extensive finance experience preferably in the education sector. Professional financial status would be an advantage but not essential.

You will have experience of strategic financial planning, excellent numeracy and communication skills with the ability to understand and analyse complex financial data.  All of this will be combined with the skills and experience to prepare budgets, produce monthly management accounts & reports, analyse trends & spend patterns, prepare cashflow forecasts and salary analysis as well as manage the daily financial routines. Candidates will be supported by a Finance Officer.

Candidates will have excellent MS office skills e.g. Excel and Word and be competent users of a range of finance/school specific packages.  Knowledge of Sage 50 is essential, ParentPay and SIMS would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
